What we keep, and what we do not.

A short policy, because we collect very little: what is needed to make and send a book, and an email address if you asked for the weekly prompt.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address and the details of what you ordered. Card details are entered into our payment processor and are never stored on our systems.

When you join the circle or the Monday email we collect your first name and email address, and nothing else.

When you contact us we keep the message and your reply address for as long as it takes to resolve the question, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you write again about the same thing.

What we use it for

Order information is used to make, pack, send and support your order, and to meet our accounting and tax obligations.

Email addresses given for the circle or the weekly prompt are used to send those emails and nothing else. We do not add order customers to the mailing list automatically — you have to ask for it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the processors described below.

Who else touches it

Payments are handled by our payment processor, which receives the information needed to take the payment and to handle refunds and chargebacks.

Delivery is handled by postal and courier partners, which receive the name and address on the parcel.

Email is sent through an email service provider, which stores the address list on our behalf. Each of these processors handles the data only on our instructions.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses the cookies necessary to keep a checkout session working. If analytics or advertising tags are enabled they are listed here, along with the choice to decline them, before any non-essential cookie is set.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the address on the contact page and we will respond within thirty days.

You can unsubscribe from any email we send using the link at the bottom of it, and that takes effect immediately.

Where we are required to keep records for tax or accounting purposes, we keep only what the law requires and delete the rest.
